The James L. Jensen Student Access to Science and Mathematics (SAS) Center serves to support, prepare, and advance the education of students in all fields of science and mathematics through active participation in research, scholarship, and co-curricular activities.

Tutoring Starts 2/2
Free tutoring for science and math courses is available via the Jensen SAS Center and Lindgren Math Tutoring Center starting February 2, 2026 for the Spring semester. The schedule will be posted when it becomes available.
Update on Zoom Tutoring Availability
In-person tutoring is strongly encouraged whenever possible. However, to accommodate individual student needs, Zoom tutoring may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Students who are unable to attend in-person tutoring may email sascenter@csulb.edu to request Zoom tutoring. Requests will be reviewed, and students may be paired with a peer mentor based on availability.
