Students complete assignments that are essential to building their professional profile including developing a graduate level resume and cover letter, conducting an informational interview, attending career fairs, participating in mock interviews and more.
During the course, recruiters co-facilitate a particular topic to provide diverse perspectives as well as opportunities to network . Additionally, Graduate Business Career Services coordinates a company visit so students can learn more about different industries and corporate cultures.
During the second portion of the Career Course, students are learning concepts that will impact them while they are completing their internships. Topics include learning about career readiness, growth mindset, working with different generations in the workplace and more.
