Civilian Active Shooter Response Training
Civilian Active Shooter Response Training is available by request to any student or employee group, club, or department on campus. Trainings can be customized by time or content to fit the needs of the audience and can include any combination of the following:
- Informational presentation (inc. RUN. HIDE. FIGHT. response model, national statistics, warning sign behaviors, and reporting options)
- Active shooter incident case studies
- Office and/or classroom safety walk-through
- Barricading demos
*Presentations typically run between 60 - 90 minutes
Please submit requests at least two weeks in advance. All trainings are facilitated by UPD personnel and are subject to their availability. If an emergency situation occurs, any scheduled trainings may be cancelled at the last minute.
