The top priority of the CSULB Police Department is to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff while also providing professional and compassionate service. Our officers are committed to balancing safety with empathy and enforcement with understanding, guided by the unique needs of a university environment. Through a community-policing approach, we work collaboratively with our campus community to build trust and foster open communication. We believe safety is strongest when built in partnership with those we serve, and we remain dedicated to transparency, respect, and service as we move forward together.
