Need Advising Help?
Each student in the College of Engineering is assigned academic advisor based on their status and major. If you are a pre-major, you should contact your pre-major advisor. If you are fully-declared, you should contact your faculty advisor for your major.
If you would like to change your major within the College of Engineering, the process depends on your goal. To request a change to a COE Pre-Major, visit the Declaring a Pre-Major page. To request a change to a COE Major, visit the Declaring a Major page. To request to add a COE Minor, visit the Declaring a COE Minor page.
If you are interested in studying engineering, please check out Prospective Engineering Students for more information about student research and degrees here at CSU Long Beach.
Please contact University Outreach and School Relations if you are wanting general information on The Beach. Outreach is available to help you make an informed decision about your college choice.
If you have already applied, please contact Enrollment Services for all your application questions as the COE Academic Advising Center is unable to answer these questions.
