New International Student Orientation
New international first-year, transfer, and graduate students are required to attend the International Student Orientation.
During orientation, you will learn how to:
- Maintain valid immigration status while studying in the U.S.
- Access F-1 student benefits
- Adapt to American culture and university expectations
- Learn about campus services and resources
- Get involved on campus with student organizations, such as the International Student Association.
- Attend the orientation designated for your degree level.
- ALL New International Students must attend orientation in person for Fall 2026
In-Person orientation will provide lunch and a campus tour!

The Learning Center (TLC) serves as the central provider of learning support services for the university community.
