New International Student Orientation
New international first-year, transfer, and graduate students are required to attend the International Student Orientation.
During orientation, you will learn how to:
- Maintain valid immigration status while studying in the U.S.
- Access F-1 student benefits
- Adapt to American culture and university expectations
- Learn about campus services and resources
- Get involved on campus with student organizations, such as the International Student Association.
- Attend the orientation designated for your degree level.
- ALL New International Students must attend orientation in person for Spring 2026
- In-Person orientation will provide lunch and a campus tour!

The Learning Center Information Session - In Person
The Learning Center (TLC) serves as the central provider of learning support services for the university community. Staff collaborate broadly with administrators on campus initiatives supporting student advancement and more narrowly with faculty to address the learning needs of their students. TLC programs serve the entire university, providing academic support services for all students, and job opportunities to successful students willing to help their peers in the pursuit of their degrees.
