CIO'S MESSAGE - September 28, 2020 (Students)

Change to CSULB SSO Login on October 5

Dear Students,

As a follow-up to my previous announcement, we are following through with our Single Sign-On (SSO) service provider’s recommendation to only use our campus email address and password to log in to our SSO service to improve service during peak periods. On October 5, you will only be able to log in to SSO using your full campus email address and password.

Currently, SSO login allows the use of either our campus email address or our nine-digit Campus ID as username.  So on October 5, Campus ID will no longer be accepted. In preparation for this change, we have already indicated the use of our email address on the CSULB SSO login page as illustrated below

If you used the “Remember me” check box feature on the SSO login page, please update it now to remember your full campus email address.

If you don't know your campus email address, you can use the BeachID Email Lookup page.

If you have questions, please contact the Technology Help Desk at helpdesk@csulb.edu or by phone at 562-985-4959.

Stay safe and well.
