TidyUp and UDOIT are companion tools that support the organization of content and identification of accessibility issues in Canvas courses.

Learn more about these tools from recent ATS workshop recordings, or sign up for upcoming sessions:

  • TidyUp Your Canvas Course
Discover how TidyUp can identify unpublished pages, delete outdated materials, and remove empty folders, thus reducing clutter and streamlining course content.
  • You Can Do It With UDOIT
See a demonstration of UDOIT's ability to scan for accessibility issues and provide easy-to-follow guidance for remediation.

For best results, use TidyUP before running a UDOIT accessibility scan. This will help you identify active course materials that may need remediation and older documents that can be archived. Archived documents that are no longer in active use are exempt from Title II compliance requirements.

If you manage a campus website, Popetech is a new web accessibility testing tool rolling out at CSULB to support your Title II compliance efforts.

Built on the WAVE Accessibility Evaluation Engine and tailored for higher education, Popetech will scan all public-facing CSULB content and highlight the accessibility issues that need attention.

Access to Popetech will automatically be granted to campus Drupal group administrators in the coming weeks; watch for an email notification with account and training information.

If you manage a campus website not on the Drupal platform, please contact ATI-Compliance@csulb.edu for more information about Popetech or other tools suitable for your site.

Reminder: Submit your documents for remediation before the April deadline

To meet ADA Title II requirements by April 24, 2026, all public-facing digital materials, including PDFs, MS Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations, must meet specific accessibility standards.

Take advantage of CSULB’s new document remediation service to identify and fix accessibility issues in your active documents. Get started today and stay on track for compliance: Submit a remediation service ticket.
