2023 Spring Mixer
The 2023 Spring Mixer took place on May 4 at the Game Center inside the University Student Union at CSULB. In total, 22 people were in attendance including 11 current METRIC students, six friends of the scholars, and five program personnel.
As the semester winds down, faculty mentors got to reconnect with the scholars over bowling and yummy Chinese food. This was a much-needed social event to relax everyone's spirit before the final exams begin in the following week.
The purposes of the mixer were to:
- reconnect students and faculty.
- allow METRIC students to further connect with each other and remind them of the importance of community.
- remind scholars of available resources.
