Pregnancy Options Counseling & Services

Patients coming to the SHS for a free pregnancy test receive pregnancy options counseling while waiting to receive their results. This short counseling session provides the patient with unbiased, nonjudgmental information about reproductive health.

To get a pregnancy test at Student Health Services, you can either buy a pregnancy test at the Student Health Services pharmacy or meet with a nurse who will order a urine pregnancy test for you.

Patients who have a positive pregnancy test are provided information about all options that are available to them. Please see the bottom of the page for more information about adoption, prenatal care, and off-campus abortion services. 

Medication Abortion Services at SHS

SHS offers medication abortion at a very low cost in the clinic. Our caring clinicians provide confidential services, including a medical exam, a home care kit, and the medications needed for an abortion. All instructions will be provided to the patient.
