Crisis Assistance & Resource Education Support (CARES) helps students navigate challenges, connect with resources, and stay on track academically and personally. We provide practical support, advocacy, referrals, and case management, but we are not therapy or counseling.
For counseling, visit Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
CARES is here when life gets overwhelming. You might need support if you are:
- Struggling after a personal or family crisis
- Feeling isolated or having trouble managing daily life
- Experiencing academic challenges due to outside circumstances
- Unsure how to access campus or community resources
You don’t have to wait until it’s an emergency - CARES can connect you with resources early.
You may have been referred by a professor, advisor, staff member, or friend who noticed you might benefit from extra support.
Referrals are not disciplinary; they are simply about care and connection. A CARES staff member will reach out to check in, listen, and connect you with resources.
