We contract directly with agencies, schools, districts, and other organizations to offer professional development to their teachers and childcare professionals. Each of our programs is designed to engage teachers in science and/or engineering activities as they joyfully develop their teaching confidence and competence. Each workshop can accommodate 30 teachers per session and can be catered to meet the specific needs of your organization.

Head Start on Science for Pre-K Teachers

This intensive, hands-on professional development workshop is designed to make teachers more comfortable, confident, and capable of sharing developmentally-appropriate science with young children. Topics include:

Early Head Start on Science for Teachers of Toddlers

This hands-on and joyful professional development workshop takes a sensory and skills-based approach toward science. Helping teachers and caregivers to design and implement science experiences that will expand toddlers' curiosity and wonder. Topics include:

• Science practices and skills for toddlers

Early Childhood Engineering for Pre-K and TK Teachers

In this engaging hands-on professional development workshop teachers will learn what engineering is, and what it's not, along with how to best design and facilitate engineering experiences for children.Topics include:

Online Science and Engineering Professional Development

In addition to our face-to-face offerings, we can present several different workshops to your teachers via Zoom and similar online platforms. As with all of our offerings, we will work with you to develop professional develop specific to the needs of your teachers. Potential topics include:
