Are you interested pursing a Certificate Program at CSULB?

CSULB offers a number of non-degree certificate programs.  Not all of the programs are eligible for financial aid. 

 

The following chart lists the current standalone Certificate programs at CSULB that are eligible for financial aid:

Students enrolled in an aid-eligible Certificate Program are only eligible for funding through the Federal Loan programs. You must submit a FAFSA each academic year to determine your eligibility for federal loans.

 

Undergraduate Certificate Program - Eligible Aid Information

Program of study is

Standalone Certificate – Aid Eligible Program

You may be eligible for

  • Federal Direct Subsidized Loans
  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans
  • Federal Direct PLUS Loan

Eligibility Requirements

  • Half-time = 6 semester units
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Have remaining eligibility for loan borrowing (Not reached lifetime loan limits associated with credential program)

 

Graduate Certificate Program - Eligible Aid Information

Program of study is

Standalone Certificate – Aid Eligible Program

You may be eligible for

  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans
  • Federal Direct PLUS Loan

Eligibility Requirements

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Have remaining eligibility for loan borrowing (Not reached lifetime loan limits associated with credential program)
