Featured Scholarship Recipient – Emily Orozco, Accelerated MBA Cohort XIV
As a recipient of the Hogar Scholarship, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to CSULB. The generosity and support from this scholarship has allowed me to focus on my education and make the most out of my first year as a member of the AMBA XIV cohort. Having completed my undergrad studies at CSULB, I always knew that I wanted to return for my masters. CSULB has always had my back and, thanks to this scholarship, every day I come to class is a comforting reminder of that. I am incredibly moved and humbled by this scholarship and I plan to donate in hopes of helping other fellow students of underrepresented backgrounds pursue their aspirations of continuing their education. Once again, thank you for selecting me as a Hogar Scholarship recipient. I will do everything I can to make CSULB proud and I look forward to contributing to the success of future scholarship recipients. Go Beach!
