The faculty and staff of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are very proud of you for having accomplished a very important milestone which has now forever been woven into the tapestry of your academic endeavors. We applaud the incredible amount of perseverance and grit you have shown throughout your journey with us and especially for overcoming the unprecedented challenges this semester brought.

Had things been normal, we would have celebrated your achievement by shaking your hand and cheering loudly as your name would have been called from the commencement stage.
