Elizabeth Dill
Dean Elizabeth Dill, M.L.I.S., is responsible for the leadership, operation, and development of the institution’s R2 University Library. Dill has served in several senior leadership positions, including as Director of University Libraries at the University of Hartford and Director of Library Services at Troy University, Dothan. Elizabeth is a member of CSU’s Council of Library Deans (COLD), she was appointed the inaugural Chair of COLD’s DEIA Standing Committee and was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Boston Library Consortium. Dill also serves on the MLIS Program Advisory Board of Indiana University.
Elizabeth is actively involved in numerous library related organizations and initiatives. She co-edited a book published by the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) entitled, “Intersections of Open Educational Resources and Information Literacy.” The book is in its third printing. Additionally, Elizabeth and her coeditor are recently cited several times in ACRL’s “2024 Top Trends in Academic Libraries: A Review of the Trends and Issues.” She is a vocal advocate for open access and diversity in librarianship and has written and spoken extensively on these topics in state, national, and international conferences.
Elizabeth received her Master of Library and Information Sciences from Valdosta State University in 2012, a Training and Instructional Design Certificate from Florida International University in 2004, a Master of Fine Arts from California Institute of the Arts in 2000, and a B.S. in Education from University of Georgia in 1997.
