Daniel Diaz, CSULB APS Bridge Program student gets his Ph.D.

Congratulations to Dr. Daniel Diaz who completed his Ph.D. at CERN (Switzerland) on "Search for Higgs Boson Decays to Long-Lived Scalar Particles in PP Interactions at 13 TeV" in the group of T.R. Kolberg. His Ph.D. is awarded by Florida State University.

Daniel was part of the very first APS Bridge Program cohort and started our Master's program in Fall 2014. He completed his master's degree in computational physics in the group of Z. Papp.

Daniel will be back in California for his postdoc in January 2021.
