Mission Statement:
The Graduate Business Programs (GBP) Advisory Board’s mission is to support and enhance the educational and professional experience of Graduate Business Programs students as well as to support graduate business programs across the College of Business as needed.
What does the GBP Advisory Board Do?
The Graduate Business Programs Advisory Board includes several sub-committees that help advance the mission and strategic priorities of the College of Business and Graduate Business Programs. Each committee brings together Advisory Board members and Graduate Business Programs staff to support student success, strengthen industry and community connections, and enhance the overall graduate business student experience.
Industry Trends Committee
Provides insight on emerging workforce and industry developments to help keep Graduate Business Programs relevant, forward-looking, and aligned with employer expectations.
Outreach Committee
supports awareness, recruitment, and community engagement by identifying opportunities to connect prospective students, organizations, and community partners with Graduate Business Programs.
Scholarship Committee
Helps expand access and affordability by supporting scholarship fundraising, stewardship, and review efforts for Graduate Business students.
Employer Engagement Committee
Strengthens relationships with employers through networking, mentoring, experiential learning, site visits, and other opportunities that support student career readiness.
