CSULB’s Beach Investment Group – the honors level, undergraduate & graduate investment course – earned second place honors in the annual Chartered Financial Analyst Association of Orange County (CFAOC) Investment Strategy Competition in December, edging out regional universities UCI and CSUF.

After more than five years of leading COB Graduate Business Programs, Ingrid Martin will be returning to faculty at the end of next summer. When Ingrid started 5 years ago as Director of Graduate Business Programs, there were only 3 versions of the MBA program and now we have 8 programs in total.

This year I had the privilege of attending CSULB’s 5th annual Alumni Mixer. The event was held in the COB courtyard on Saturday, October 14th, 2019. This mixer is held every year to allow current students and faculty to interact and network with CSULB alumni.
