Off-Campus Community - Virtual: Health and Human Services Resume Writing for Federal Jobs
HHS is hosting a webinar on federal resume writing on October 16 from 3-4 p.m. ET to ensure that students, recent graduates, and experienced professionals are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to craft a strong federal resume, a key part of the federal application process.
This webinar is a must-attend for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the federal government, as attendees will learn valuable tips on ways to effectively highlight their skills and experiences so that their resumes stand out during the application process.
The webinar will feature guest speaker Karlos DelToro, a Senior Federal Recruitment Advisor from the Office of Personnel Management, who will provide expert insight and guidance on crafting a compelling federal resume so that participants understand and learn the following key points:
• The difference between writing a resume for the federal sector and other sectors
• How to use USAJOBS vacancy announcements to enhance your resume
• Simple steps to writing a results-driven resume
• The USAJOBS Resume Builder
This is a free webinar that is open to the public. This is not a hiring event. Please do not send us your resume -- to be considered for a position, apply through USAJOBS.gov. Everyone that registers for this webinar will receive the video recording and a PDF of the slide deck sometime after the conclusion of the webinar. Please contact the HHS Early Career Talent and Pathways Program Office at Pathways@hhs.gov with any questions about the event.
