New CSU Policy Library

The Chancellor's Office is pleased to announce the creation of the CSU central repository for system-wide policies called the CSU Policy Library.

Last year, a committee with members from all seven divisions of the Chancellor's Office was convened to analyze how we manage and publish system-wide policies. Using information collected from campuses and Chancellor's Office employees, as well as data obtained during a similar study done in 2015, this group determined that policies were published in many formats and locations, and were difficult to find.

Over the following months, the committee selected PolicyStat to support a new CSU Policy Library. PolicyStat provides a central repository to search, update, and review current systemwide policies. All aspects of the policy lifecycle will be managed through PolicyStat, increasing efficiency and enhancing quality and compliance management.

The CSU Policy Library provides a simple, comprehensive, and powerful way to quickly find CSU systemwide policies and is available now at https://www2.calstate.edu/policies

If you have any questions about the CSU Policy Library, please email policy@calstate.edu or call (562) 951-4600.
