Budget Presentations Open to the Campus
Monday, Feb 27 - Tuesday, Feb 28 - Friday, March 2, 2012
To assure that everyone interested has the opportunity to learn about the campus’s budget situation, we have scheduled three open sessions at which we will present what is currently known about the Governor’s proposal for next year’s State Budget and how it is anticipated to affect us. The State budget process is unpredictable and subject to many changes. This presentation will share with you the best knowledge we have now.
- Monday, February 27, 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the Karl Anatol Center
- Tuesday, February 28, 12 noon to 1:00 pm at the Barrett Athletic Administration Center (BAAC)
- Friday, March 2, 9:00 to 10:00 am at the BAAC
Some of you may have already seen this presentation in another forum, but others may not yet have had the opportunity. If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, the Powerpoint that is presented will be posted on the campus Budget Central web page.
We hope these sessions and information on Budget Central prove useful.

Campus Green
TEXTILES
We buy them … we gift them … we wear them. Eventually we discard them. The US Environmental Protection Agency estimates that Americans throw away nearly 21 BILLION pounds of textiles (clothing, footwear, accessories, towels, bedding, drapery, etc.) every year.
For the past four years, Facilities Management Recycling has partnered with Residential Housing and Salvation Army to collect old clothing students no longer want when moving out of on-campus housing. Every year under this program more than 5,000 pounds of clothes are collected and donated to Salvation Army for reuse.
