LBCIP Application Workshop

Applications are now open for the Long Beach Community Internship Program (LBCIP) for Spring 2027. Students complete a one-semester internship with a nonprofit organization, gain professional development and networking opportunities, enroll in a 3-unit internship course, and receive a $2,000 participation award. The application deadline is October 12, and students at all stages are encouraged to apply. Spring2027_LBCIP Student Flyer
Even better, HDEV’s internship program is offering a student-led workshop September 30 from 12:30–1:30 PM on Zoom. HDEV students can hear directly from a current HDEV LBCIP intern about her application experience, tips, and advice.

Hearing from one of our own students should be especially helpful for those who are interested but feeling a little nervous about applying!
