Welcome to the Basic Needs Program at Cal State Long Beach, where we are dedicated to supporting our students' well-being by ensuring access to essential resources. We understand that thriving academically means having basic needs met, so we offer a range of services and resources to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. From food and housing security to financial wellness support, we are here to help you navigate college life with confidence and peace of mind.

Basic needs are the conditions necessary to survive and thrive. This includes:

  • Housing Stability: Secure and stable housing
  • Financial Wellness: Ability to manage finances and meet financial obligations
  • Healthcare: Access to affordable and quality healthcare services
