Genre Vol. 41 (2026): Care is now available on CSU Open Journals!
In Spring 2026, we became the first to pilot Open Journal Systems (OJS) at CSULB. OJS is a global, open-source platform for publishing scholarly journals, giving us a streamlined approach to publishing our journal electronically, as well as providing solid digital infrastructure that elevates Genre’s workflow. Special thanks to the Chancellor’s Office and to the University Library for their support, especially Digital Archivist Bennie Stoll for working closely with Genre to facilitate this process.
We were recently featured in Chapters of Student Success, a publication of the Provost’s Office’s Academic Affairs, highlighting the durable and professional skills that Genre fosters as an editorial collective.
