SPRING 2025

The spring semester is off to a great start on the heels of big collegiate student media competition wins for the Long Beach Current, ENYE magazine, DIG Mag, Beach TV News, and Beach Media. In addition, we’re welcoming three new professors this semester: Scott Moss specializes in AI and algorithm literacy instruction; Jacqueline Garcia comes to JPR with close to ten years’ experience as a reporter for La Opinión; and James Williams, a JPR alumnus, is a sports reporter for USA Today. JPR advisors are available to meet with matriculated students four days week; they will also be on hand for the campus wide newly admitted student event “Day at the Beach” Saturday, April 12, and our signature annual event, “JPR Day,” will be Wednesday, April 23.
Stay tuned to JPR social media for more details on all things JPR (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
