The department offers academic advising four days a week in multiple modes, per the availability below.

For students who would like more information about JPR’s internship requirement, see the JPR Internship website and/or plan to meet with JOUR 498 instructor of record Professor Todd Henneman during his drop-in office hours in person or via Zoom.

NOTE: Advising is for current, matriculated CSULB students ONLY. Community college and high school students looking for more information about the department can learn more on the JPR website and they can follow us on Instagram. Meanwhile, the best place for information on how to apply to CSULB is the admissions website. Returning JPR students who broke enrollment and are ready to finish may request a meeting with Professor Fleming through the process above after they have completed applicable readmission steps.
