Second Saturday Family Day at Kleefeld Museum

Published on April 7, 2022

Saturday, April 9, 2022.
10:00am-2:00pm at the Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum (on campus).

The Science Learning Center is proud to participate in the Second Saturday Family Day, hosted by the Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum on the Cal State Long Beach campus. Activities at April's event are themed around Earth Month.

This event is open to the public.

Explore Earth Month with hands-on activities led by the Science Learning Center. First, take a closer look at some of the smaller inhabitants of this planet, examining shapes, structures, and behaviors of several common 'critters,' and then documenting your findings through drawing. Then, experiment with the energy of the sun as you figure out how different designs can affect the effectiveness of an easy-to-assemble solar oven.
