CNSM Student Research Symposium 2019

September 20, 2019
10:00am-1:00pm in USU Ballrooms

Each fall semester, the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM) provides an opportunity for its students to showcase their collaborative research with California State University Long Beach faculty. CNSM students who are engaged in research are encouraged to participate in the Student Research Symposium by getting an approved abstract from their faculty mentor and making a poster presentation. All students on campus are encouraged to come learn about the research conducted by their fellow students.

The entire CSULB campus community and friends of CSULB are invited to celebrate these students' accomplishments and examine their research.

Why Participate?

The Student Research Symposium is more than simply a forum to present your research – it is an excellent way for CNSM students to connect and network with other CNSM students and faculty, foster your professional development through your presentation, and enhance your resume. It also gives students the opportunity to experience the other research that is being produced around campus by their peers.

Students who are interested in joining a research group will learn about the types of opportunities available to conduct student research, be able connect with faculty who share similar research interests, and have the opportunity to ask their fellows students advice on how to get started.

No RSVP is needed if you are not presenting.

Abstract Submission

For students interested in presenting, please register by September 12 and submit your abstract by September 13.
