Model United Nations
What is MUN?
Welcome to MUN at the Beach! Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulated experience in which students can model what it means to represent a country on the international stage of the United Nations, working collaboratively with other countries to tackle the world’s most pressing issues. Students at CSULB can participate in MUN through the club and/or MUN Program anchored around 378 Politics and Practices of the UN.
While this is an exercise in diplomacy and negotiation, conferences recognize outstanding delegates in each committee. These delegates receive an award and/or certificate based on their pre-conference submissions or their performance at the conferences.
Looking to get involved? Come to our General Body Meetings in SSPA 105, every Thursday at 5pm to learn more about International Politics and Model United Nations, or for our weekly FunMUNs. Hope to see you there!
