Welcome to the College of Liberal Arts!

We are the largest college at CSULB with nearly 10,000 students with a major, minor, or certificate in one of our 100+ degree options. With degrees ranging from humanities and global languages to social and behavioral sciences, the College of Liberal Arts offers numerous ways to receive a world-class education. Our programs often have fewer units and more flexibility, making it easier to double major or add a minor or certificate to enhance your degree and broaden your career opportunities.

Interested in a career in law? Major in American Studies and add a Legal Studies certificate to prepare for law school. Interested in studying the connection between the environment and the impacts on communities? Major in Geography and minor in Human Development. There are infinite combinations of major, minor, and certificate options to help expand your knowledge and add to your college experience.
