Minimum Qualifications

  • Master of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field, to teach undergraduate courses; Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering to teach graduate courses
  • Demonstrated potential for effective teaching
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in the field of course(s) to be taught
  • Evidence of effective teaching experience

 Responsibilities

Teach courses in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as follows:

  • CAD/CAM
  • Modeling and Analysis of Dynamic Systems
  • Kinematics and Dynamic Systems
  • Computer Programming using MATLAB
  • Numerical Methods using MATLAB
  • Mechanics of Deformable Bodies
  • Analytical Mechanics: Dynamics
