Minimum Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field to teach undergraduate courses; Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field to teach graduate courses
  • Demonstrated potential for effective teaching experience
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in the field of course(s) to be taught
  • Evidence of effective teaching experience


Teach undergraduate courses and graduate courses in any areas of Computer Engineering or Computer Science including:

  • Algorithms and theory of Computer Science, automata
  • Discrete math and linear algebra
  • Data structures
  • Programming languages
  • Verilog and VHDL hardware design languages on FPGA Platforms including Xilinx
  • Digital logic, Assembly Language on variety of processor platforms, including ARM
  • Computer architecture
  • Embedded systems
  • System on Chip
  • DSP
  • Cybersecurity
  • Operating systems
  • Parallel computing and distributed computing
  • Software engineering
  • AI, machine learning
  • Mobile app development
  • Web development database management
  • Network administration and network security
