Employee Parking Update for Lot 17
Parking and Transportation Services recently installed 3 “Pay-by-Space” stations in Lot 17 (in front of Brotman Hall) that will service 45 short-term parking spaces. These are multi-space pay stations requiring users to enter their parking spot number (found at the bottom of each spot), insert payment, and place the payment stub on their dashboards. There will continue to be 10 traditional, single space metered spots in Lot 17 that only accept coins.
All pay station and metered parking spots are indicated by a green curb, and all employee parking indicated by a white curb or block. Parking will be strictly enforced, so if you are an employee, be sure to park in an employee space (white curb). As a part of the redesign of Lot 17, the number of metered spaces decreased by 62 and the number of employee parking spaces increased by 81.
All pay station and metered spots are intended for quick turnarounds, not all-day parking. “Pay-by-Space” stations currently accept cash, credit/debit or Beach Club card. However, beginning Fall 2012, all transactions at the Pay-by-Space stations will only accept credit, debit or Beach Club card payment – no cash.
If you have any questions, please contact Parking and Transportation Services at extension 5-4146.

Office Supply Swap Meet - Thank You!
Purchasing and Support Services would like to thank the campus for making the 1st Annual Swap Surplus Supplies event a spectacular success!
We received an incredible amount of donated office supplies. Combined with a great turnout, we were able to do a "spring cleaning" of our department offices and save money by not having to buy new office supplies. Office Max estimates we saved between $6,000 to $15,000 in office supplies! Purchasing and Support Services appreciates your support. Whether you donated surplus supplies from your office or obtained supplies at the event for your office, your efforts toward campus sustainability are crucial and much valued.
We hope to see you next year at the 2nd Annual Swap Surplus Supplies event!
