Andy Pham
Major: Kinesiology

Andy is a Kinesiology major with a concentration in Exercise Science from Palm Springs, CA. He became an SI leader because he understands how dense and difficult biology can be and wants to provide all the help and assistance he can for his students. He hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy and rehabilitation after graduating. In his free time, Andy enjoys working out, playing video games, and going on adventures with his friends!

Yasmin Abdrabo
Major: Heath Science

Yasmin is a Health Science: Community Health Education major from Rowland Heights, California. She became an SI Leader to help students better understand the course material by providing them with the resources and study skills needed to excel. Her goal is to help alleviate any stress that may come with the course. In the future, she plans to attend grad school to continue her pursuit of knowledge. In her spare time, she likes to go on runs, make beaded jewelry, and watch Netflix with her cat.

Kelly Kang
Major: Biology

Kelly is a Biology Major with a minor in Chemistry from Huntington Beach, CA. As an SI leader, she empathizes with academic challenges, drawing from her own experiences. Kelly is dedicated to helping others grasp subjects and develop lifelong study skills. Beyond academics, she delves into organic chemistry lab research in her free time and volunteers at CHOC.

Andy is a Pre-Nursing major born and raised in San Jose, CA. He became an SI leader to encourage and support students to bring out their fullest potential in the face of a challenging course. He hopes to become an ICU nurse and eventually work to become a nurse practitioner. Andy enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and cooking.

Audrey Yoshimura
Major: Pre-Nursing

Audrey is a Pre-Nursing Major and hopes to earn her nursing degree to work in pediatrics. She became an SI leader because she understands the challenges that come with being a college student, she hopes to help other students by being a supportive and encouraging peer leader. In her free time, she is an avid reader, crafter, and occasionally visits the Rec Center to play basketball!

Genine is a Kinesiology major with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Her career goal is to become a physical therapist. She became an SI Leader, because she wants to help students become more confident in their learning abilities and study habits.

Kya Jun
Major: Pre-Nursing

Kya is currently a Pre-Nursing major. She became an SI Leader, because she really enjoys learning about physiology. Since she understands that the concepts can be difficult, she hopes she can provide resources and help students gain a better understanding of the subject. Her ultimate career goal is to become a registered nurse (or even a nurse practitioner one day) who works with mothers and infants in the labor and delivery unit. In her free time, she loves to read, journal, and scrapbook.

Major: Kinesiology 

Tansi is a Kinesiology major with an emphasis on exercise science. She became an SI Leader, because she realized how helpful it was in understanding complex ideas and biological sciences after being a student in SI herself. She wants to be able to provide easier ways to understand the material and instill confidence in her students to be able to take on challenging courses and succeed in them. She plans on becoming a physical therapist in the future. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, watching movies, listening to music, and hanging out with friends and family.

Diana Camacho is a Pre-Nursing Major with an interest in minoring in nutrition and dietetics. She became an SI Leader as a means of helping and encouraging students to find effective ways to learn! Her ultimate goal is to become a certified pediatric nurse or nurse practitioner.

Chloe is a pre-nursing major currently in her sophomore year at CSULB. She hopes that as an SI leader, she can help students be more confident in their knowledge and abilities, even in challenging, content-heavy courses. She hopes to eventually become a nurse educator, like her grandma.

Brian is a Kinesiology Exercise Science major from Fresno CA. He became an SI leader because of his experience in teaching anatomy lab. Brian gained a passion for helping other students end believed that SI was the right place for him. Brian hopes to become a physical therapist in the near future.

He became an SI Leader, because he wants to share the study skills that he learned through the SI program and to help students develop the confidence to succeed in their classes. His ultimate career goal is to become a registered nurse in the ICU. In his free time, he loves to play basketball, workout, and go on food adventures with friends.

Major: Statistics 

Nhavin is a Statistics major and is minoring in Political Science. He wants to pursue a career in public policy or surveying, because he enjoys analyzing and discussing government policy. He knows that Statistics has broad usage and sometimes more difficult to comprehend than students assume, as he himself struggled at one point.
