Review the Graduation Guide to determine your graduation status. Advisor approval is not required to apply for graduation.
The University uses the Academic Requirements Report (ARR) NOT your Degree Planner to verify your graduation status. Use your ARR to find your remaining requirements and plan your final term(s).
- Log in to MyCSULB and select Academic Requirements from in the Academics section of your Student Center.
- Red squares indicate remaining requirements, yellow diamonds are in-progress, and green circles are completed.
Once you have reviewed your ARR, submit your planned courses for an advisor to check.
CSULB’s Graduation Term Change Guidelines
- CSULB understands that circumstances surrounding your plan to graduate can change, and you may need more (or less) time to finish your degree.
- You can request to change your graduation term for the purpose of completing your primary degree objective and requirements. Adding a degree objective (minor, 2nd major, etc.) is not an approved reason for prolonging graduation.
- An advisor will review your request in consideration of the University’s Timely Graduation Policy. If an appeal is required, an advisor will contact you with more information.
