JetBlue Long Beach Marathon on Campus
Sunday, October 8 – Road Closures

On Sunday, October 8, the JetBlue Long Beach Marathon will include our campus as an important part of its course.  Because vehicular access will be very limited during this race, we are requesting that no events or facilities be scheduled on race day between 4 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m., particularly within the marathon route:

  • Merriam Way
  • Beach Drive east of Merriam Way
  • West Campus Drive
  • South Access Road
  • East Campus Drive
  • State University Drive

The west side of campus will be accessible from the northbound side of Bellflower Boulevard. More details about the event can be found at the JetBlue Long Beach Marathon website. For questions regarding campus street closures, contact University Police at ext. 5-4101.

Physical Planning & Facilities Management (PPFM)
is Pleased to Announce the Launch of its New Website!

PPFM is very excited to unveil a new website (ppfm.csulb.edu) after months of development!

The project is the result of a cooperative effort between Marketing and Communications, the Information Technology Services Web Development Group and the PPFM Information Technology Group. The site has been completely rebuilt and updated to meet the University’s new design and accessibility standards.

PPFM’s goals were to make the site faster, easier to navigate, and effortless to manage and update. Above all, PPFM wanted to provide the university a simple way to gather information and submit requests.

Reporting issues can be sent via text or e-mail to the PPFM Customer Service Center. Texts can be directed to (562) 985-HELP (4357) and via e-mail to PPFM-CustomerService@csulb.edu.

Please note that the Self Service Work Request system can be accessed anytime via the “Request Services” link. A mobile app is being developed to complement the Self Service Work Request. Remember that this system requires a unique account and is not a part of the campus Single Sign On. Contact the PPFM Customer Service Center at 5-HELP (4357) for any questions and additional information.

Two Additional Travel Workshops This Semester
