Plugged In: Rethinking E-Waste
This workshop explores the growing issue of electronic waste (e-waste) and how everyday tech accessories contribute to global waste streams. Students will learn about the environmental impacts of discarded electronics and fast tech culture, while discovering practical ways to extend product life through reuse, repair, and redesign. Through a hands-on phone case upcycling activity (phone case redesign or custom insert creation), participants will transform old items into functional, personalized pieces—demonstrating how sustainability and creativity can go hand in hand.
