Veterans Services Orientation

Veterans Services Orientation is designed to help military-connected students successfully transition into life at The Beach. At orientation, you’ll receive an introduction to campus resources, learn how to use your education benefits, meet the Veterans Services team and build community with fellow students.

What You Will Learn

  • Required documents and key timelines for using your benefits
  • Understanding the different VA and CalVet education benefits
  • How to access and make the most of Veterans Services at CSULB
  • Support resources and community-building opportunities for military-connected students
  • Want a head start? Click here to explore the benefits you may qualify for and how to get started.

Dependents
If you are not using any benefits, i.e. Ch. 33 Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Ch. 35 DEA or the CalVet Fee Waiver, or are using ONLY the CalVet Fee Wavier, attendance is optional but encouraged to make sure you know what resources may be available to you. CalVet Fee Waivers can be emailed to our office. Please include your campus ID number.
