Nights at the Observatory

Come Observe the Wonders of the Universe! The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites you to join us on the Hall of Science (HSCI) rooftop to look at stars, nebulae, planets, and the Moon through our telescopes.

Observing times are held on Tuesday evenings from 8:00pm-9:00pm while classes are in session (January 30 to May 7 for Spring 2024, except April 2).

To get to the roof, use the outdoor staircase* on the west end of the HSCI building (facing the bookstore).

*Please contact physics@csulb.edu for ADA accessibility requests by 4:00pm on the observing day.
