Parking and Transportation Services introduced a new offsite Overflow Parking permit option for Fall Semester 2018. This parking option offers students an alternative to parking on campus during the normal peak times of parking congestion (Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.). Permits are sold at the discounted rate of $65, more than 50% off the normal student semester rate (on-campus restrictions apply, please see below). On-campus housing residents are not eligible for this option.

After Oct. 18, the offsite lot will close and all Overflow Parking permits will then function as normal Student Semester Permits. Permit holders will be able to park on campus seven days a week after this date in the areas designated for Student Permits.

Frequency: Every 15 minutes
Shuttles will depart from the Lowes parking lot starting at 8 a.m. and every 15 minutes thereafter (ex. 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, etc.). The last shuttle will depart from campus to the Overflow Lot at 4:45 p.m.
Pick-up location: Lowes Parking Lot, 2894 North Bellflower Boulevard
Drop-off location: West Campus Turnaround/USU (CSULB)
Overflow Permits are required at all times when parking in the off-site parking lot. Parking on campus Monday-Thursday is STRICTLY PROHIBITED (Aug. 27-Oct. 18). Overflow permits are valid on campus every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. After Oct. 18, Overflow Permits will be valid on campus seven days a week and will function as a regular student semester permit until Jan. 20, 2019.

Permit recipients will be required to display an Overflow Permit sticker affixed to their campus ID to board any campus shuttle to/from the Overflow Lot location.
You can pick up your sticker at the Overflow Lot (8 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) or at the Parking Office in Lot G5 (1:30 p.m.-5 p.m.).
