Permit Information & Regulations

Before your purchase a permit, please consider one of the many discounted forms of sustainable transportation available as a less expensive and greener alternative to driving and parking a vehicle on campus.

If you choose to park a vehicle on campus, some form of paid parking will be required. Parking permits are sold online through our Parking Portal. Daily and Short-Term parking can be purchased touch-free via the Parkmobile App or from a nearby parking pay station. Additional information about permit types is listed below. All forms of paid parking are nontransferable. Parking privileges may be revoked for individuals found sharing a permit or falsifying any virtual/physical permit.

CSULB uses a completely paperless permitting system called License Plate Recognition (LPR). Plastic hangtags, stickers, or paper permits are no longer issued or required. Your license plate functions as your parking permit.
