Young Scientists Camp
Join Us for Summer 2026!
Summer 2025 had 290 kids who participated in Young Scientists Camp. We are looking forward to having a similar number of campers with us for Summer 2026!
Camp will run Monday-Friday, 8:30am-12:00pm, July 13-25, 2026.
Join us as we do hands-on investigations in the classroom and visit campus resources like the Marine Lab, Shark Lab, Vertebrate Lab, Bug Lab, Science Learning Center, Japanese Gardens, and more - all on campus.
Young Scientists Camp is an exciting program that brings students, experienced teachers, future teachers and science specialists together for two weeks of hands-on exploration, discovery, and fun! This is an academically focused, hands-on science camp program hosted on the California State University, Long Beach campus for children entering 2nd-9th grade.
SEE US Succeed!
We also host SEE US Succeed!, a two-week summer science camp program for Long Beach Unified students experiencing homelessness. Please consider making a donation to support campers for that program.
