Film & Electronic Arts (FEA)
Our innovative program emphasizes both theory and practice. Focusing on the integration of moving images, culture, and technology, the curriculum is designed to develop technical skills while providing a foundational education in the arts and humanities.
The faculty consists of industry professionals and media scholars with diverse skills that encompass film, digital, and broadcast production. Media history and aesthetics are taught as an integral part of production practices.
There is no portfolio requirement for incoming first year applicants.
***Please Note: beginning in Fall 2024, the Film & Electronic Arts Degree will follow a new curriculum pattern. Because of this, students who begin their first year in Fall 2023 will be directed by academic advisors to take courses under the new curriculum pattern. The curriculum listed below ends in Spring 2024 and is only accurate for Fall 2023 transfer students and students in their third or fourth year in Fall 2023. Please contact academic advising or the department staff if you have any questions.***
***Please note: the Film and Electronic Arts Minor will no longer be accepting applicants in Fall 2023.***
