Two CalPERS Workshops Coming Up on Monday, August 14

Planning Your Retirement Workshop

If you have a minimum of five years CalPERS membership, are age 50 or older and plan on retiring in the next couple of years, this workshop is for you! Presented by a CalPERS retirement specialist, this workshop will cover retirement calculation, service credit, survivor continuance and the retirement application process. It will be held at the Barrett Athletic Administration Center (Room 223) on Monday, August 14, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. RSVP deadline is Friday, August 4. New CalPERS Member Workshop

This class is for members who are new to CalPERS and want to know about the programs and benefits they offer. Learn about pre-retirement death benefits, leaving your employer, service credit and more. This workshop will be presented by a CalPERS retirement specialist and is ideal for employees who are not currently eligible for CalPERS service retirement (have less than 5 years of CalPERS service or are under the age of 50).
