West Campus Drive Construction August 17, 2018 through August 24, 2018
Commencing Friday, August 17, 2018 our Utility Infrastructure contractor will be performing demolition and excavation activities on West Campus Drive. These activities will affect both the north-bound vehicle travel lane and bus stop near the Library (see map). During this work, the bus stop will be closed, and traffic will be reduced to one lane between the hours 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We will have traffic control in both directions. Delays in this area should be anticipated. After 3:00 p.m., both lanes will be open to normal traffic flow. The construction work will be complete by Friday, August 24, 2018.

Benefits Open Enrollment September 10, 2018 through October 5, 2018
Benefits Open Enrollment takes place this year from September 10, 2018 to October 5, 2018. As a reminder, this is your annual opportunity to make changes to your benefits plans - enrolling, cancelling, adding/removing eligible family members, and changing plans. Any changes made during the Open Enrollment period will be effective on January 1, 2019. The 2019 rates and forms will be available starting on September 10 on our benefits website and in Brotman Hall 344.
Our Open Enrollment Fair will take place on September 18 from noon to 2:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor patio of Brotman Hall. The fair is a great opportunity to meet with representatives from our health, dental, vision, life, retirement and other benefits plans. Get your questions answered and learn more about your benefits at this fun event!
We’re also offering two Open Enrollment Informational Sessions: September 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. and September 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the BAAC. Representatives from our campus benefits team will present information about our benefits, including important plan changes. Following the approximately one hour presentation, benefits team members will be available to respond to your questions on a one-to-one basis. No RSVP is necessary for these events.

E2 Parking Lot Closure Tuesday, August 21, 2018 and Friday, August 24, 2018
On Tuesday, August 21, 2018 and Friday, August 24, 2018, student special events will take place in parking Lot E2 (formerly Lot 3). There will be no admittance into the lot after 3:00 p.m. and all parked vehicles must vacate by 5:00 p.m. Alternative parking locations include E1 and E11. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Convocation 2018
Faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the start of a new year at Convocation on Friday, August 24. President Conoley, Provost Jersky, Academic Senate Chair Norbert Schurer and ASI President Genesis Jara will share their thoughts on the upcoming year.
The breakfast reception begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Dance Courtyard. The program will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Carpenter Performing Arts Center featuring CSULB’s two winning projects in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge.
