Academic Planning
The Office of Academic Planning at CSU Long Beach, led by the Vice Provost, provides strategic leadership across key institutional priorities, including budgeting, facilities, enrollment planning, research and sponsored programs, academic technologies, and institutional research. Central to its mission is the development of integrated, high-level analytical models—created in collaboration with campus partners—that inform decision-making related to enrollment, resource allocation, research growth, technology investment, and space utilization. Through this data-informed and collaborative approach, Academic Planning supports long-term strategic initiatives and ensures alignment with the university’s academic and institutional goals.
