Carpooling is a great option for students and staff to save time, money and emissions when commuting to campus. Carpool members not only share the cost of gas and vehicle expenses, but they can also avoid traffic by utilizing one of the many HOV lanes on local freeways leading to campus.
CSULB encourages carpooling to promote sustainable travel habits and to facilitate reaching our overall Climate Action Plan goal of carbon neutrality by 2030.
Special Note: In order to ensure your safety while availing the Zimride Carpool services, here is a dedicated page listing out Best Practices during COVID-19.
Zimride Carpool Network
Zimride is a carpool ride-matching service available to the CSULB community. Zimride is a fun and easy way to share the seats in your car or catch a ride to campus without a car. With Zimride, you can quickly find other CSULB friends, classmates, and coworkers that are traveling the same way as you. Join an existing carpool or start your own!
Driving to campus or need a ride to campus?
Zimride helps you offer or request rides for commutes, road trips, and popular events. If you have a car, split the costs of a parking permit and gas by offering rides. If you don't have a car, find rides that are already heading to where you need to go.
If you have additional questions about Zimride or how to use Zimride please call 1.855.ZIMRIDE or email email@example.com. Zimride is powered by Enterprise, a private, independent company and not affiliated with the CSU or providing services in partnership with CSULB.
