Permit Fee Schedule (2021-26)
Every year, we face the reality of rising costs for providing parking services as well as safe and effective parking facilities. These services include parking structure maintenance, asphalt repairs, elevator certifications, online purchase technology, staffing the Visitor Information Center, and customer service at the Parking and Transportation Services office.
We have been reluctant to take this step, but in June 2021, a 5-year fee increase schedule was proposed and approved to create a sustainable parking operating budget. This schedule creates an incremental increase in fees each year from 2021 to 2026 to cover parking infrastructure repairs, fund programs like the campus shuttles, and staff for parking operations and event services.
