BeachGO is a free, commuter assistance app for CSULB students and employees that provides carpool matching, bus trip planning, the most efficient biking routes, pedestrian walking paths, step-by-step navigation and even rewards for recording your trips on the app. BeachGO can help you match with other students who want to carpool to campus including messaging and determining a meet up location. You can quickly find the nearest bus or light rail station, bike share stations and even safe walking routes to campus for those who live less than 2 miles from campus. 

Whether you prefer carpooling, biking, taking public transit (bus/light rail), or any other mode of transportation, BeachGO can help you get to and from campus safely and easily. Track your carbon savings and earn more rewards for the more carbon you save.

BeachGO is your daily ride, simplified!

  1. Download the app for Android or iOS. You can also choose to use the BeachGO desktop website.
  2. Join with your campus email address (the one ending with "csulb.edu")
  3. Complete your profile to establish an affiliation with CSULB as a student or a staff/faculty member.
  4. Search for different commute modes including matching with other CSULB students or staff for carpool partners (Staff can only match with staff and students can only match with other students).
  5. Start Recording trips and earning your rewards!
